The objectives of the Twenty Third Movement are:-

Firstly , providing impoverished communities on the African continent with the necessary agricultural tools and skills needed to generate food and/or cash crop sustainability in order that participating communities are able to free themselves from being tied to foreign aid.
It is envisaged that services and goods will be provided to the partner community rather than cash disbursements made.

Secondly by supplying relevant knowledge on how to maintain the land;and on how to use equipment.

Thirdly , to help lay the foundation for a grass-roots based general educational curriculum.
